This project documents the summer fieldwork conducted by the State of the Rockies' Waldo Canyon crew. This team of student ecologists spent their summer surveying the burn scar from the first day of the 2012 Waldo Canyon Fire. They are the first group to study this land in any capacity since the fire. Their research focused primarily on understanding the regeneration success rate of Ponderosa Pine in the area. For more information on the Waldo Canyon team and their summer research, check out the latest edition of Anthropogenic. (May-August 2023)
